Instant Pot Lasagna: A Quick and Delicious Italian Classic

01 9 lasagna noodles (oven-ready or no-boil noodles work best)

02 1 pound of ground beef (or ground Italian sausage for extra flavor)

03 1 onion, finely chopped

04 3 cloves of garlic, minced

05  1 can (24 ounces) of pasta sauce

06 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

07 1  1/2 cups of ricotta cheese 

08 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese 

09 1 teaspoon of dried basil 

10 1 teaspoon of dried oregano 

11 Salt and pepper to taste

12 Cooking spray or oil for greasing the Instant Pot 

13 1 cup of water 

Step By Step Guide For Making  Lasagna

Step 1:  Cook Beef 

Brown ground beef in Instant Pot using the sauté function. Drain excess fat.

Step 2: Add Onions & Garlic

Toss in chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant.

Step 3: Layer Lasagna

Grease Instant Pot; layer lasagna noodles, meat, sauce, cheeses, and herbs. 

Step 4: Pressure Cook

Pour 1 cup water, pressure cook on high for 20-25 mins (depending on model) 

Step 5:  Natural Release 

After cooking, natural release for 10 mins, then quick release any remaining pressure 

Step 6: Serve 

Open Instant Pot, admire your masterpiece, cut, and serve. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
