01 2 pounds of chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats

02 1 teaspoon of salt

03 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 

04 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

05 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (for coating, optional)

06 Cooking oil (for frying) 

07 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter

08 1/2 cup of hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)

09 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (for extra heat, optional) 

Step By Step Guide For Making Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Wing

Step 1: Prep the Wings

Dry chicken wings with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 2 : Prepare the Instant Pot

Place a trivet inside and add 1 cup of water. Arrange seasoned wings on the trivet.

Step 3: Pressure Cook the Wings

Seal Instant Pot, set to "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" for 5 minutes. Perform quick pressure release when done.

Step 4:  Make the Buffalo Sauce      

Melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan. Stir in 1/2 cup hot sauce and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Step 5:Coat the Wings

Toss cooked wings in the prepared buffalo sauce.

Step 6:Broil for Crispiness

Preheat oven's broiler. Place wings on a baking sheet, brush with sauce. Broil for 3-5 minutes, turning halfway for crispiness.
